“The models are Sonali P [in the teal]; Sera N [in the navy floral] and Ariel X [in red]. Three favorite models.
Sonali who is IndoFijian-Aus was a major muse, a kathak dancer at that time [with NSW’s premier Indian Classical Dance company and school, Ruchi Sanghi Dance Company], she was a dream to photograph.
Sera is Fijian-Aus and now a full-time professional Australian Rugby Union player and sports commentator.
Ariel was/is also a focused, multi-faceted woman and she is doing awesome things too.
This was one of two shoots, both shoots showcased the versatility and cosmopolitan adaptability of Fiji designers.
