Lazy journalism likes to stereotype AZA as ‘just’ Indian wear but that would be like saying Versace is just for Italians…

Zulfikar is a bona fide veteran of Fiji’s fashion AND retail industries, with extensive experience on the side that matter most, the customer’s point of view.

Having spent years on the floor and as national sales manager for one of Fiji’s top department stores, then becoming their buyer and creating Fiji’s first fashion retail experience, Zulfikar launched his label AZA in 2012 and has been dazzling audiences since then.

Everyone looks forward to an AZA show to get their dose of glam… and walking into the AZA boutique is walking into a treasure trove of artistry.

Zulfikar curates his pieces (his suppliers show him what’s trending and what’s available and he decides the final look), as well as designs from scratch… this week’s editorial showcases his own designs which are not ‘just’ Indian wear… like all of fashion, they are Indian inspired,… made in Fiji and modelled by one of Fiji’s original supermodels.
