This is a good article but…Provocative lede STATEMENT… and one that can make others who have been oppressed far worse and far longer -AND YES THIS CAN BE QUANTIFIED SORRY NOT ALL ABUSE IS EQUAL- roll their eyes.

It is not Palestine who is attacking Israel.
Israel is attacking Palestine for refusing to leave the land that was known globally as Palestine until 1947, when the Brits palmed ‘responsibility’ to the EuroAmericans, who ‘gave’ the displaced People of Jewish faith (PEOPLE the UK and UK jnr (usa) didnt want!) a country of their own…and that they (UKjnr) still want control of
…so Hamas retaliates for Palestine.

The people of the State of Israel deserve to live peacefully. Their ancestors were persecuted
..which is WHY their CONTINUED persecution of Palestine is heinous.
ALL religions, ‘races’, groups, countries, communities, have fundamentalists.
People (allegedly) who are against PEACE and GROWTH and HARMONY.
They just want to harm.
A fundamentalist murdered YITZHAK RABIN.
RABIN. An ex soldier who fought for and against all sides… who saw firsthand how FUTILE war is…who was elected Prime Minister in 1992… and awarded the Nobel Peace Prize* because he wanted PEACE and knew it was possible.
As did the then foreign minister SHIMON PERES and Palestinian leader YASSER ARAFAT.
These were GIANTS and they found a way. Or they would have…
Rabin was assassinated November 1995.
I am not so sure we know the actual truth.

The more you uphold constructs and deny yourself the truth and FACT…. the more FICTION becomes FRICTION.
(*itself a coloniser construct to appease and placate, they mean well BUT it doesn’t change anything.
Plus I know people who actively campaign for such titles.
