Nivi from Deccan region, the plateau that covers most of West & South India, particularly Andhra Pradesh. “Deccan” is an anglicised word that comes from the PRE SANSKRIT word for South.

I love wearing my Mother’s saris and the saris She bought for me. I still smell Her aroma [scent implies it’s just Her perfume but it’s my Mother I am talking about] in them, must be memory because the saris have been laundered over time. It envelops like an embrace. My Mother’s hugs. I still feel them.

I am grateful for this bond I have with my dead Mother. I talk out loud with Her. You know? Like Kit does in The Chronicles Room of his cave, chatting with dad, The Phantom before him.

This makes me know I am connected to my Self. To “God”. We are physical manifestations of what we call GOD. Only some of us have the courage to understand that.

Anyway.
I am also holding an 80s lilac Glomesh bag. I have a great collection of Glomesh and other vintage alumesh accessories from the 60s, 70s, 80s. I do purchase new things but when I do, it is with the intention of making that thing, vintage. I love that I value history and longevity. Integrity is at the core of everything.
