I started my professional career life in radio at 18 in 1989 (although I got hooked when I was 12. Being given a microphone that was going to broadcast my words all over the country was a huge responsibility, that I still don’t take lightly).

Also in 1989, I was “discovered” and became a professional model.
I started singing professionally not long after, not on a whim, I have been performing as a dancer and singer since I was a child.
In my 30s and 40s  have performed publicly as a flamenco dancer but by no means am I professional, I’m just watchable.

In 1992 I became one of the first television newsreaders in Fiji, while also continuing being on radio, singing globally and yes, modelling.
Ahh the 90s. The era where the multi hyphenate bloomed.

Now I am what they call a “Polymath“; a writer, journalist, publisher, photographer and a Creative Director. I should add globally renowned to the above but I don’t yank my chain like that…

I also co-produce and present shows and news on our YouTube channel, The Lives of Our Days
If required/hired, I am a forecasting and pop-culture consultant, a less propagandist way of saying public relations advisor.

I still model, I still sing, both better in my 50s than in my 20s.
That was training.

PS. If anyone’s asking what my creative soul wants; I want to host a visual radio show in a glass-walled studio inside a roller-skating rink that has basketball courts on one end and cool cafes and chilling areas all around the perimeter, all luscious, socially responsible glamour by night and cool sophisticated casual by day. Yes I want XANADU.
