“My Husband asks me some fun, cool and interesting questions about my careers and this one is about modelling. I am not a globally famous model like the euroworld “supers” but I feel I have experienced enough, in every decade of my life since I started modelling at 18, for my career observations to be taken as advice or just cool stories and vintage photos. Modelling was never a goal-career, simply something I am good at, so it has made me known …and I love it for the artistry. I like using my talents to enhance others skills.”

Q1. TS Feb cover shoot story: “We did this interview because February is my birthday month and I am on the cover of The Stylander, [yes it is my magazine but I feel worthy. I am not a vanity project].
A self clicked shoot, taken in 2016 in Fiji for an inflight magazine article and press purposes, the Feb cover is an unpublished one. [story in episode].
I was 45 then, deeply unhappy, depressed, suicidal, with no clue why, my life was f**ken great right, that’s what everyone, including me, kept telling me
…but my deeply suppressed trauma had started to leak due to perimenopause, oh and being suppressed from childhood… but I had a GREAT work year. Being busy is such a great way to mask but the implosion isn’t pretty.
I was all over the world, utilising and using my writing, photography and model skills to spotlight culturecentric excellence.”

“The shoots I have chosen are NOT my FAVOURITE shoots nor my favourite PHOTOS [all of the former and many of the latter are with my Husband]. They are shoots that stand out as marvellous experiences and memories. Going through the archives, my GOSH I have done a lot of shoots, from the first professional one in 1989 till today. One day it would be cool to share it chronologically… but not yet, I am not done yet. I am actually ready to be a model NOW.
Even though I never stopped. For some reason I have never been in fashion in Eurostralia. I am a classic, not a trend.
I have had agents before but I would not know where to start now.
“Inclusivity” hadn’t been invented in 1999 , and when they say “diverse”, they don’t mean better.
Anyway. That was back then. 1999 till now.

Q6. Worst shoot Well, I see photos from this shoot on social media all the time. The shoot was an unpaid shoot for a good cause… for people, a country, a region, I reflect a lot of my spotlight on.
Top designers gave their clothes! Top industry stylist! Top cosmetics people! They were photographing Brown people! For charity.
Everyone gave their time generously especially us ” non industry Browns”.
I was photographed to show my “natural self”. Very edgy.”
