Pac Gala is Back!
PAC Gala 2025: Pacific Artistry Celebration
Carrying on the legacy of the now legendary Pacific Runway, PAC Gala is back after a two-year hiatus.
The inaugural PAC Gala in 2022 was a spectacular black-tie ball as is this year’s, but this year’s Gala launches the reason behind the name.
PAC stands for “Pacific Artistry Celebration” and PAC Gala has evolved into what it was created to be; an awards ceremony recognizing Pacific origin Artists making waves in Australia.
This evolution continues Pacific Runway’s commitment to showcasing Pasifika talent globally, as well as cementing PAC Gala’s social highlight prestige.
The addition of the awards component is about recognizing outstanding contributions from Pacific artists in various genres, and providing them with a platform to shine and garner well-deserved recognition

“After Pacific Runway, I wanted to produce an event that highlighted and celebrated other creative sectors, not just fashion design. Those who know me know I love to do things that haven’t been done before.” says Founder and Director of Pacific Runway & PAC Gala, Jannike Seiuli.
“To be able to recognize our Pacific Creatives from all over Australia, in Australia, is very exciting.”

The 12 award categories are; Music, Performing Arts (Dance Academy / Choreographer), Beauty, Fashion, Art, Film (Director / Actor), Theatre, Pacific Initiative, Content Creator, Young Achiever, “Kween Energy”and Pacific Excellence.
The finalists were chosen based on their outstanding contributions to the Arts and Creative Industries globally over the last two years.
It was Pacific Runway tradition to invite a designer of First Nations origin to open the show. Previous opening designers include respected and popular labels Lyn-yal, Kirrikin, Liandra and Nungala Creative.
In keeping with tradition, PAC Gala 2025 awards will open with a mini fashion show showcasing Buluuy Mirri designs by Gomeroi designer Colleen Tighe-Johnson.
The Gala venue is Sydney’s landmark Town Hall, a sumptuous setting for a blue carpet [“representing the ocean that connects us all” – Seiuli] and the perfect frame for the stunning garments, ensembles and designs guaranteed to be worn by the fashion and creativity connoisseurs attending.
Not everyone wears Pacific designers, that’s not the point but please do view our EDITORIALS and PACIFIC RUNWAY’S FACEBOOK ALBUMS if you need inspiration for the Pasifika Black Tie theme or to fascinate your senses.
PAC Gala 2025 is sponsored by Powerhouse Museum (a longtime supporter of Pacific Runway), and ABC Pacific. The evening’s MC is popular presenter and journalist, Johnson Raela, co-host of The Pacific, a news and current affairs program on ABC Australia.
Guests will be entertained by upcoming stars of Pasifika origin before a 3 course meal culminating in a dance party with a DJ to commemorate the night.
THE STYLANDER will feature the winners names, galleries and other news of the night on Saturday 22/02.
Please join us LIVE on the blue carpet from 6:10pm.
Pacific Runway went from being a small community event to a global juggernaut and the PAC Gala has already proven to be a… runaway success. Now it’s a benchmark of excellence.
This evolution is a revolution.
